Hello, there!

I (she/her/hers) am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC, #19352) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria. My professional background includes a combined six years in the world of corporate finance and technology start-up sectors. I have seen first-hand how my diverse, and non-linear career path serves to make me a better therapist. My unique experiences have enabled me to support clients in making values-aligned life moves for themselves, which I think is pretty cool.

I have additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, and attachment theory. If these terms mean nothing to you, as they didn’t for me before I trained in counselling theory, please click the links above or jump to the “Our Approaches” section to learn more about what our work together might look like.

I am a mother, partner, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, and friend. I try to be as authentic in my interactions as possible, as both a therapist and human. I believe laughter is healing so I aim to share with you my sense of humour when I can. I’m a life-long learner and especially love to absorb information through podcasts and audiobooks. If you do too, I’d love to swap recommendations! I learn from many places in my life: my formal education, mentors, colleagues, loved ones, and especially from my clients who are wise beyond their recognition. I hope you will learn to access this wisdom through our work together.
